Red Clover, Red Clover, All Over!

Red clover (Trifolium pratense) is a sweet friend of mine that cures so much, I welcome her as a preventative and treatment for cancer, blood clots, circulatory problems, liver ailments, kidney knots, heart misdemeanors, and for recovery from strokes and any condition of compromised circulation, compromised detoxification pathways.

I have a little story to share of this beautiful and abundant plant. After suffering a stroke, and undergoing aggressive treatment of eight and a half months for a blood clot in my neck vein, I carefully weaned myself from blood thinners to take the original of all blood thinners, Red Clover (warning, do not take with blood thinners). Her seemingly small, blood thinning powers were enough to eliminate my blood clot in two weeks, per MRI and MRV. What you won’t get with harsh chemically refined drugs are the bountiful chlorophyll, calcium, magnesium, plant based estrogens and selenium, anti-spasmodic factors and diuretic. You also won’t get unstable blood values, and may share in the plant specific energy of healing, that is available to us, free, as humans. It tones the organ systems to the best possible function. The time to harvest is now, the best time, the most potent time. I like to harvest the blossom and the top set of leaves only, leaving the rest on the plant. Established plants bloom in succession, and are loved by bumblebees!

Steep dried flowers and a few leaves in boiling water overnight. Drink the love!!! 🙂
